Valentine's Day Ball

Underneath the first tier, against the walls are tables laden with any food you can imagine, along with a huge variety of deserts. Waiters and waitresses walk around with silver platters laden with sparkling juices served in flutes.

Awai walked into the ballroom for the Valentine's dance. She was unimpressed at the decoration, "I've seen more grandiose venues than this." She moved across the empty floor, disappointed that she was actually the first one there. She wore a black and red dress. The bottom half was layered, frilly, and black while the top have was strapless, red, a huge red blossom over her left breast, laced up the back. A simple sash that tied at the small of her back, the knot covered by a similar blossom, completed her ensemble. She walked over to the finger foods, grabbing a glass from one of the waiters along the way, and began to eat while she waited for someone else to show up.

Her dress:

Killian casually walked into the dance hall bored. He was rubbing his eye and yawned. He quickly went to a seat and sat down. He saw a girl and watched her.

Awai's ear pointed towards the door as she heard it open and someone walked in. She didn't recognize the boy, Probably a student. she thought to herself. Not that looks played a role in it, especially looking so young herself. No, she had met all two of the other staff members, one being her childhood friend. The boy walked over to a chair and took a seat. He didn't seem to be doing so well, so she walked over to him, a piece of cake still hanging from her mouth, "Are you okay? You look tired."

Killian blinked as the girl walked towards him. He listened to her and yawned again. Yeah I'm fine I guess. Just a little bored." He rubbed his eye again and watched te girl carefully studying er every move. He stood up and jumped up and down about thrice. He ten stuck out his hend to her. "What's your name? And woul you like to dance?"

Awai swallowed the piece of cake in her mouth, washing it down with the sparkling juice she had. "My name is Awai Tenpi." she looked the boy up and down. "I suppose there's no harm in a dance." she put the plate of food and glass down on one of the tables and placed her hand in his.

Having studied the ballroom in close detail he glanced down from the upper floors noticing two characters down on the ground floor, holding up a drink in his left hand he studied them for a moment, it seemed like they where going to dance as they got together, taking a small sip of his drink he shook it lightly while he studied them.

Killian guided Awai to the dance floor and put his hand on her back. He started to do the waltz. ”I am Killian Timere. And Im afraid Im not the best. But i believe i can suffice.”

Awai placed a hand on Killian's shoulder and the other he held up at their side. She smiled at his comment, "If you're referring to your waltz, you're doing just fine." her tail flowed quietly with their movements, he ears perked up and forward.

"What a pain" Here he was expecting the ball room be filled with people and intrigue and all he could see was a pair "This place has such low class, no wonder no one`s here" He mumbled to himself in a stern voice.

Steering his eyes away from the couple. Jumping down from the third floor the boy landed graze fully on his feet barely making a sound while at it, his predatory eyes glanced over the venue, as he still held onto the drink in his free hand he started chatting with one of the maids, while he preffered not to get himself involved with the commoners he did lack company this evening of all evenings.

Killian did his best to keep up with Awai’s dancing. But he was most likely failing. He then noticed a man jump down from a higher area. He kept his eye on the man, but had his main focus on the dancing. ”Am I doing alright?"

Awai quickly realized she was leading the two of them. she giggled at Killian's comment. "Well, I'm not supposed to be leading. You should try leading." she winked at him.

This was becoming cumbersome, and it was unbecoming of him, right now what he really wanted to do was strip naked into a hot spring and just soak it all in, but the closest hot spring was probably miles away. Withouth even noticing it he had started to drift away, having taken a seat the man was asleep in a mild state.

In his Sunday's best Asch had entered the ball expecting there to be more people. However when he entered it looked as if there were only a few people who were not acting as the staff for this dance. He saw two people dancing and one man sleeping, ironically it was the boy from class who seemed so full of energy when he proposed a date to the teacher.

(If you must know he is in black slacks, matching shoes, a red dress shirt and a gray vest. I juat thought it would sound better the other way.)

Killian stared directly at Awai’s eyes when she said he wasnt leading. He nodded. He swore under his breath and then smiled apologetically. He tried to go faster and go more her pace, but he ended up tripping on his own feet and falling to the ground. He stared up at Awai dazed. ”I am extremely sorry."

Awai giggled and held out a hand to lift the boy. "Don't worry, it's not an easy thing to master."

He quickly awakened when Killian tripped on the floor, this was not good, another guy had appeared great! this was just perfect, fuck this. Helbram wanted to take a bath, or just drift to sleep it seemed, no its not that late yet he though, he recalled a pool that he had seen the first day that he got here. He guessed he would retire and just deal with it. But he thought other people must have been at the pools since no one was here. "I dunno maybe i should go out instead the night sky could be nice this time of the year" he thought to himself. He stood up from his seat, giving asch a hard glare though in reality it was not him he was glaring at, finishing his drink he gave it to one of the servants as he passed them making his exit to the wild world outside"
